Equipment inspections are performed by trained technicians who have been deemed competent and qualified through training and testing of knowledge.
• Equipment inspections are performed according to manufacturer’s instructions and to the industry standards as published in: OSHA 1910.140(c)(17), 1910.140(c)(18), 1926.502(d)(21), and ANSI Z359.2-2017 9.4.2.1 and 9.4.2.2, ANSI A10.32, 7.3.2 & 7.3.3. OSHA 1910.170 and 184; ASME B30.2-10-11-17-18-21 & 26, and CMMA specification 70, 74, and 78.
• Equipment inspections provided by Fastenal in no way replace before-use inspections, as required by the above standards, to be performed by designated employees using this equipment.
• Inspections may include the tagging of inspected assets to ID year of completion.
• Scrapped items can be taken offsite or placed in a designated area within your facility to be removed from service.

*Not all failures are able to be repaired.
